Pandemic Influenza Inter-Professional Exercise

The Arizona Center for Public Health Preparedness in partnership with the AHSC Colleges and the College of Law are conducting a Pandemic Influenza Inter-Professional Exercise.

Inter-professional exercises are a way to foster collaboration between the various health professional students on campus.  For this exercise, students will be presented with a scenario involving a pandemic of influenza and will be asked to address several dilemmas related to planning for and responding to this event while considering the legal and social issues involved.  Students from the College of Medicine, College of Public Health, College of Nursing, College of Pharmacy and College of Law will participate in this event.

Date and Time:  Friday, February 13, 2009 from 8:00am – 11:00am                    beginning at UMC DuVal Auditorium.

Registration begins at 7:30am at Kiewit Auditorium

Pre-Requisites:  Students will be expected to complete the two pre-requisites before the day of the event.
