Hazardous Weather Safety in
Southern Arizona
Characteristics of weather hazards common to
Arizona will be presented by the National Weather Service.
Methods of receiving weather information and severe weather
safety rules will also be discussed.
Participants will
be able to describe hazardous weather events in southeast
Arizona including their most likely times of the day and of
the year in which to occur. Participants will be able to
describe safety rules used in preparation for and as
protection from hazardous weather events.
